AIM OF THE CAMP:

LLC is designed to work with young men on speaking and leading in worship while encouraging spiritual growth.  Much class time will be devoted to sermon preparation and delivery, leading in prayers, singing, making announcements, etc.  It is our desire to encourage young men to be better prepared as Labourers in the Harvest.

WHO:

The camp is open for young men ages 13-18 and space is limited so priority is given to those who have already obeyed the gospel and have their application approved.  Exceptions are made for those under 13 by individual situations.   Please contact the school if this applies.

COST:

NWFSBS is a work of the church overseen by the elders of the Church of Christ at Milestone.  All work, including LLC, is funded completely by the free-will offering of Christians.  We are grateful for each supporter that makes works like this possible.

ITEMS TO BRING:

Twin cot or air mattress, pillow, blanket, toiletries, towels, not taking supplies, and a Bible.  NWFSBS is not responsible for loss or damage to anyone's personal property.  With this in mind, use your own judgment as to other properties (electronic devices, etc.) that you choose to bring.

HOUSING:

Campers are housed in the classroom wing on the Church of Christ at Milestone.  There are shower facilities on the same wing.  Two faculty members are present at all times during the week.

MEALS:

Campers are provided three meals each day, along with limited snacks.

RECREATION:

During the week time is scheduled for recreational activities.  This year will include a trip to the Naval Air Museum and 4th of July cookout.  During "down-times" past campers have enjoyed the ping pong tournaments and various activities.
